Ladies and gentlemen, please call your Mississippi Legislators and let them know you support SB2703.  This gives the right to Mississippi citizens to get divorce on domestic violence grounds.

It also adds separation as a grounds for divorce.

As it stands right now, your husband can beat the crap out of you and you can’t get a divorce.

It’s insane in this day and age that this can happen.

We sound like we are a third world country or something.

Ladies, please pay attention to how YOUR state legislator voted last year and how about voting him or her OUT OF OFFICE!

It is incredible to me that we continue to elect the same people who vote against our own interests because of silly party politics.

We like the party so we vote the party even if they say it’s okay for husbands to beat the crap out of their wives.

I don’t get it.

I don’t understand it.

But, I do know that we have a lot on the line here and we need this bill to pass the House and the Senate and then we need to call the Governor’s Office to make sure he doesn’t veto it.
